I just love it when I’ve read something about my 28 and then search and search and can’t find it again. I remember reading how much gear oil the transmission takes and how much the dual drive takes. I remember it saying not to over fill the dual drive oil. Anybody have these capacities?
Thanks,
Marty

Re: Gear Oil
Found those capacities, they were in A & AA Engine Chassis Manual. From what I think I understand, my early 28 has many A similarities. Changes were made and I'm not sure if the capacities changed.
These are for the A:
Trans: 1pt, rear 1 1/2 pts, stearing 7 3/4 oz.
I knew I saw them somewhere.

Re: Gear Oil
The steering gear and the three speed transmission would be the same as the car. I don't think that the worm drive and "A"car rear rear end are the same capacities.

Re: Gear Oil
Dual-high capacity is 1 qt. Would take more with PTO installed.
