Is my cab missing something?

Post by leathernek »

I saw a post on restoring the top and I noticed that other cabs had more of a curve along the roofline where my '29 is straight across (as you can see in the pic) Is my cab missing a piece of the roof or were the '29s just straight like this?

Oops, I Accidently submitted the post before I could figure out how to compress the picture. Anyways my cab is straight across instead of rounded like other cabs i've seen.

I really don't know what "straight across" means. So, you need to post pictures. The attached picture shows the wood across the rear of the 82-A closed cab.

Get a top wood kit from one of the many suppliers.
The front and rear header and side rails set on top of and fasten to what you have and the ribs connect the front to rear and then are covered.
