Starter bolt caught
A freind of mine has a starter bolt caught between flywheel and bell housing on Model A, any easy way to get it out without pulling transmission?

Re: Starter bolt caught
When you say caught, do you mean the engine is stuck wont turn?... if it turns remove the starter and put a small round magnet on the flywheel and slowly turn the engine, hopefully it will pickup the bolt this worked for me, alternatively...a flexible magnet tool to reach down into the housing.
If the engine is jammed put a socket on the crank ratchet and an extension thru the crank hole, using a breaker bar try turning back and forth hopefully it will release it.

Re: Starter bolt caught
Are you sure it's a bolt stuck and not the starter drive jammed? If it's
the starter drive just put it in high gear and rock the car back and forth
till it pops loose.
