30 AA Axle Shaft, Wore Keyway
I have a beval gear rear end. One axle shaft keyway is wore, and the key doesnt sit very good in it. Picked up another rearend, (off of a bug) but both are wore on that one . Is this a common problem??? I know from experiance, if the keyway and key are worn, it tends to push the brake drum into the backing plate when tightend up. According to the parts book , left and right axle shafts are the same. Any body got a good axle shaft??
