"ford" hub on 1929 AA truck wire spoke wheels

Post by jasonAA »

I am looking for at least one "ford " hub that fits on a wire spoke wheel for a 1929AA truck. Measures 3" in diameter. I have four , but one has a hole rusted through and the others aren't in the best of shape. I understand they do not make any replicas of these. Please inform me if that is right or wrong.

jasonAA,
I guess that you are looking for a "hub cap" for the '28/'29 steel spoke wheel.

I was at Bert's Model A Center (in Denver 800-321-1931) last Saturday. Steve had several of these hub caps to sell. They are expensive. And, yes, these hub caps and not being reproduced.

There are several different versions of the "Ford" script on these caps. And, the first cap also has "MADE IN U.S.A." on them.
