PTO operation/function

Post by pyrodork »

i have the PTO, but i have no controls for it. could someone post pictures/videos and describe its operation? not that i plan to use it... at least for now, but i'd like to have it ready to go if i ever wanted to. also, what kind of options were available for its use in the days of the AA? saws, cement mixers, log splitters, tow truck(?), and dump truck(?) are all i'm currently aware of. i'd like to get a rear snowblower attachment (saw it in a video), but that's going to be a few years.

basically, anything and everything about the PTO i'd like to find out in this thread.
Rumored to be an Early '30 AA...

I thought the PTO off the transmission was only rated at three horsepower.

I forget, do you have a 4 speed or a 3 speed?

I'll see if Dad has dropped the trans out of his junker '30 yet and see if I can get some pics. He was workoing on it last week, but I don't know if he got it out yet. Luke
