I have 2 BB trucks, early V8 site works well, several people with 32-34 BB trucks, I am going to start on my 34 BB soon, moving 34 body to another restored BB frame, it is a V8, keep my email and let me know what you are doing, Bruce

I haven't found any BB sites either. I have a '34 BB that I am getting the engine rebuilt for. Let me know what you find, if anything. You could try the Early Ford V8 Club. I have been on their forums. I believe the site is efv8.org.

Red, I was on the early ford V/8 forum and also the Ford Barn, They both good for cars but just ok for our trucks, I guess I am spoiled with this forum.

Steve, the general trucks discussion wasn't too bad, but it seemed that there were quite a few changes through the years for the trucks. I wonder if maybe we could have a separate forum for the 32-34 trucks? Mike G? It seems there are a handful of guys on this forum that have 32-34 trucks. I don't know if it would be possible to do that? Just a thought.

Good to see the 32-34 trucks on this forum. I have never found a site dedicated to BB trucks. Is a 32-34 heavy truck with a V-8 considered a BB ? I think cars with 4cyl. are B's, but with a V-8 they are called something else.

Looking good NDT.
What I meant was, would a 32-34 heavy truck that originally had a flat head V-8 be identified as a BB? Would the VIN start with BB?

From what I have been reading the Ford BB could have the 4 or 8 cylinder engine in them I need to locate the serial number on this Truck, Has clean title but I still need it inspected when I register it,
is the serial number under the cab on top of the frame rail like the AA ? Hope not!!. From the picture on the ad I counted 21 head studs, that means it is a 1933 engine. At least 32 to 38.

I believe mine is on top of the chassis but you can see it without lifting the fender off. There is also a number on the top of the bellhousing of the transmission.

Just got an email from the owner, he says " It is stamped right on top of the drivers frame rail in front of the fire wall easy to get to and see" I asked him to check the title and see if they match. I found this web sight : http://www.vanpeltsales.com/FH_web/flat ... umbers.htm It looks like this truck may be a late 33 or early 34. We will see, may run up there Friday.

They match !!! No Title problems, I am driving up there tomorrow to look it over. Any suggestions on what I should look for? He says the numbers on the heads don't match they say 1946 and the motor has a steel tag from a rebuilder in seattle that is dated 1948. so, probably not the original engine, I am going to take a compression check any way.

Model B (4-cyl) have the number on the clutch housing, on the drivers side. The 32 V8 has a number 18 designation.
