Does anyone have pictures of the rear portion of 131" frame? My frame was cut and Iam looking for pictures and dimensions from the fourth cross member. I am counting from front cross member, pictures I have look like there should be 5 cross members on the 131"
trucks? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Re: 131" AA frame lenght
Here is a picture of my AA157 that I purchased several years ago.
I have not restored anything yet. Hope to get to it this year.
I believe a previous owner may have cut the frame at the rear since there are steel reinforcements welded there and the frame ends are quite rough. The distance from the back of the cab to the end of the frame is about 132 inches. Not sure if that is factory correct or not. I haven't measured the frame from the front yet.
There are Miramont (sp?) helper springs on the truck. Somebody hauled heavy loads with this.

Re: 131" AA frame lenght
Need to know when the frame was made. In 4-31 they came out with new frames. The standard one was 181 5/16" the other
one for the service car and dump trucks was 169 13/16". The earlier frame was 171 5/16".

rfj52,
And, for the first part of 1928 the AA frame only had four cross members. So, you need to provide the month/year of your frame?

Sorry all for the mis-post earlier today.
I was late for an appointment and thought the original post was asking about an AA157.
Re-read his post just now and realized it was about a 131.
