A guy has a 1928 AA stakebed truck that is all taken apart for sale for $3500. It has two worm drive rear ends, 8 brake drums,
8 wheels, two new tires/tubes (6.50 x 20 Denmans), cab, doors, hood, radiator, radiator shroud, frame, springs, drive shaft,
4 speed transmission, brake shoes, stake bed/with steel stakes, Michigan title, rebuilt engine with new babbitt, new valve guides
and boxes of extra parts. Is it worth that much money? I need a title, a spare wheel and tire, plus I could use the best sheet
metal and sell the rest.

Buy it. With the title, sheet metal and other good parts that you will be using, $3,500 is cheap. And like you said, you can part out what is left to the guys that have the cash for the parts. And then you could also try to bargain with him for a lower price too.

I am always amazed at what guys will go through to avoid getting the correct title for their vehicles.
