AA-2845 Emergency Brake Cross Shaft Bracket...

Post by Steve Plucker »

Have a October 1929 AA Truck...

Was the AA-2845 Emergency Brake Cross Shaft Bracket a forging or was it a stamped steel type?

Thanks.

Steve - '29 AA chassis has frame number AA 2409291. I believe that's an October, 1929 number.

AA-2845 is pressed steel type.

Hello Steve,
Here is the e-brake shaft from my 29 AA, appears to be a forging?, I cannot confirm the chassis
# but the engine and tank are May 29.

Sorry Steve, ..... I mis-read that you meant the bracket not the shaft arms, maybe you heard that loud pop noise from down south.
