Fitting Model AA Door

I have a 1929 Model AA Truck I am restoring. I need information on adjusting the door fit if any one has some advice for me

neil do you have a doc like that for the 82 b ? sounds like it would have interesting info to know

I wrote the document for the 82-A cab. But the procedure can be applied to the 82-B cab or applied to any A/AA.

If the belt moulding of the door and quarter panel align (exactly) and the opening is covered by the lips on the door, then you must have it correct.

got the writeup, thanks a ton! Now I understand why my hood doesn't align as well as my doors.

Would it be better to take this shimming project to a pro? or attack it in the garage?

I don't have the $'s to hire a shop to do this. It takes lots of time and it is fairly simple to do. So, my advice is do it yourself.
