freeing up the drive line

Post by Buckwheat »

The driveline on my AA, with the auxillary transmission, will not turn. I can jackup both tires and they spin freely. If I jackup only one side, the wheel will move about 5-10 degrees and then bounce back(like the truck is in gear). How do you know for sure the aux is not engaged

I can turn the motor with the hand crank freely and The transmission is in nuetral.

Any idea on what or where the problem is. Or a good method for freeing this thing up?

I drained all of the fluids last night and will be filling everything with deasel tonight(there was some water in all cases)
