Elk horn, First of all you are to be commended for taking on such a project. Opinions are quite varied and I don't think you will please everyone. That said I agree that the front is a bit busy for my taste. I like the look of the script were a pocket would be. If you are unable to use the Ford script you could put a small truck in the pocket area.I also prefer all black lettering. The year of the truck is your choice. That's my 2 pennies worth.
Thanks for your efforts.

Great design, I would take a large. I agree with on of the previous posters that if you could get rid of the white backround on the truck it would look better and also have the advantage of not cracking over time when put into the dryer, but it is just a nit pic. Super nice shirt

Update

Print company said they will not do any ford logos. I am working on another "new design" and will post soon. I'm pretty busy (home remodel I am doing myself, sharing nightly feeding duties with wife of our 3 month old and still working 40-50 hours at work) :( Notice hour of my posting!

Thanks for all suggestions, I know not everybody willl be completely happy with shirt design, input on design is appreciated.

You might try to get permission from Ford to use the name on a club item.

I talked to my T shirt connection today. He is licensed by Ford. But he also said that Ford doesn't care about guys making club shirts. They are only after people selling them for profit. He will make the shirts for us but his minimum order is 48 shirts. At first he wanted 72 but I talked him down to 48. He will need the artwork and for us to choose they brand and type of shirt. Personally I could use 2 T shirts and 1 long sleeve. Now just 45 other shirts need to be ordered.

Chris,
As a cost comparison - what are the total costs for a run of 50 t-shirts with different sizes and different colors? There would be art work (one color - black) on each side (front and rear). What about shipping and run setup costs. The grand total price would be needed.

We (actually it is Chris Dohnke doing the project) are currently working with CustomInk.com and have several designs under consideration. For this company, a run is for one t-shirt, multiple colors, and multiple t-shirt colors. So, getting some t-shirts and some long sleeve shirts would be two runs.

Using information from CustomInk.com, the following is what they show for the Hanes Beefy-T. I don't know if that name is a CustomInk.com name or a Hanes name.

Hanes Beefy-T

Hardworking, comfortable and durable. A tried and true favorite!

Soft, strong and BEEFY! When looking for a durable shirt that lasts this t-shirt fits the bill.

6.1 oz. 100% pre-shrunk ringspun cotton; Heather colors are poly/cotton blend
Premium soft, thick ringspun cotton
Double-needle stitched for durability
Tagless label for comfort

FYI for everyone - The club has permission to use the Ford logo in the newsletter and on products. But, we would have to order products (like t-shirts) from a authorized licensed supplier. We an not going to get locked into that type of situation. And, we will not try to get by with working around the edges. So, basically, we are not going to use the Ford logo. The two national A clubs do not use the Ford logo on their t-shirts - probably for the same reason.
Regards, Neil Wilson
