I have the Double A'ers magazine April 2009, great article. Where can I purchase the windlace?

Nick,
The part numbers in the article are the original Ford part numbers. As far as I know, vendors are not making windlacing like original (i.e. with the correct diameter cores).

Upholstery kits usually come with windlacing. But, the windlacing I got with a Le-Barron Bonnie kit for the 82-A closed cab was not correct. I figured out what I wanted to use for the cores to match the original OD and then had an upholstery shop make the windlacing from extra material ordered from Le-Barron Bonnie.

Make sure that the windlacing above the door and down the front side of the door has a core which will not get hard in cold weather. Both of these windlace pieces get compressed when the door is closed. So, the core needs to be flexible in cold weather.
