Picked a nice spring day to take the truck to work. First time in 2013 and first time since I built the tail gate and have the hoist in full operation. I hope that everyone is getting some road time with their AA's now that the weather is nice.

Have two people that need dirt hauled.

Mark, now THAT is a beautiful paint job. Very, very nice! (Not sure how eager I would be to dump sand, gravel and dirt on my truck if I had a better paint job but I can dream.)

Also, my cell phone photography hides the fact that my truck is full of saw dust from a winter in the garage. It really needs a bath!

Here it is showing off the new spare tire carrier I made.

Thanks Farrell! It's as close to the original Vermillion Red that we could find. Tried to keep it as original as possible, but that in itself is a learning process! Still needs some exterior cosmetic work done, but it runs really well and is fun to drive.

Stakebed... Hope the weather clears up for you soon! The tires are the 650-20's but I am going to change them to the 600's because the front tires rub the brake rods when you turn sharp. The rear tires are over 30 years old and are starting to crack, so that's another good incentive to replace them.

Thanks, TruckMan! I love the classic look of your truck. It looks great, and I'd keep it the way it is now!

Nice trucks! I'm a new member, so I thought I break the ice.

This is my 1931 Ford Model AA with a Gar-Wood Bed. Just got it a month ago!

ahh yea. what are your plans for the old rear tires? I need some cheap ones to roll around with (all i got is rims and 2 terribly flat rock hard 70 year old tires probably)

Nice truck, Jeff! Nothing wrong with white walls.

Stakebed: Once I replace the tires, you can have them for free!
