Would this be an original for the plate you are making? notice the raised area. it looks like that may have been used to gain some strength; not sure it was needed to clear something underneath.

Farrell: The photo from rsierk is like the plate that I sent, with the raised area.
Rolling: That's some great work on your made, and it just might work better that the original.
rsierk: Thank you for posting the photo.

Here is one with a factory PTO handle cut out. Notice how the shape of raised part is different
than the one in the picture rsierk posted, the plate is also 3/8" wider.

Re: floor plate fab for 30-31
thats nice bob , was the raised area for ...strength or part of the hole stamping, or maybe to keep things from vibrating? also makes me think it could have had so kind of felt there like the steering column does. anyone know?

Just what I needed.........You are a great member and very generous.
I glass beaded the plate and discovered what looked to be remnants of some glue on the inside edge of the raised area. Once painted I made a floor dust gasket out of some closed cell foam left over from the roof kit from another vehicle. This was glued in and fits to a `T`(or rather AA`) So now I have an excellant floor plate for thr trans and E-Brake.
One other item I need to order up is a floor mat. Although the cab dimensions are the same, will a Model A Pick up mat work with modifications
