How many aftermarket addons exist today?

Post by Stakebed »

I was browsing thru the green book called The Ford Truck Owner and it lists all the great qualities of the AA and why the other brands are inferior etc but in the back its a bunch of the old listings for all the AA addons like PTO devices, frame extensions, trailing wheel sets, essentially a locking differential bar, etc

I was curious as to how many of these survived? some are very ingenious but i have yet to see a real modern picture of them existing let alone put on an AA..

I have a PTO or two and I have a set of overload (helper) springs. Those are the only AA accessories I can think of that I have. I'm sure other AAers have a lot of stuff too, but, as far as, how many AA accessories still exist..........I don't know how one would ever figure that out. Hopefully, others will respond with the type of AA accessories they have on hand.

Best,

I am also like Drew, we have pto's and helper springs but not really anything else. My uncle has an "A" pickup that has a frame extension, but that's all that I know of.
