thinking about buying a high speed rear axle for my 31 AA Just curious as to how much faster it will allow to run? Currently 25-30 mph is top speed. Thanks for any information on this topic.

I used to keep mine around 30-35. If you get up much past that your are pushing the engine. It is only like a 2800 rpm motor. At the 35 mph you are around 2100 rpm. Neil had a chart that calculated the speeds out.

Re: high speed rear axle
My top speed is around 55 but 45 is a good cruising speed. I also have 650 tires which gives me a few mph more.
