sad to see but neat to see. just think of all the vital goods and troops that they transported for the ruskies! (im also a ww2 gun collector so these trucks tickle both my worlds) it really wouldn't be too hard to replicate one of these trucks especially the late war ones with the perfectly square front fenders (resemble ww2 jeep fenders)

they also had slightly different wheels where they only had 2 holes in them (much like modern budd wheels)

not to mention an all wood bed, mostly used 4x4/s across the bottom with the 2x6 or 8's across the top so if you want to build a replica all you need is a running frame, cab, hood radiator shell, and short running boards (i have seen some made from simple wood planks- weither this was how the russians prepared them or a wartime battlefield fix i cant say) and make your own fenders and build your bed from stuff at menards/lowes haha.
