Value of a 31AA, no bed

I made a friend in Oklahoma that has this 31 AA truck. He is not looking to sell the truck, but asked me what I thought of its value. Being more of a 28/29 guy, I'm not sure what to tell him. The cab is complete, all parts installed, interior is all there, everything up front works. The truck has no bed as it was set up to pull a latter rig. I'll include a picture of the latter rig, but I'm more curios on the value of the truck. Thanks.

Now that is a cool truck! I've always thought the 28/29s look better with the square corners. Do you know the history on the fuel truck?

The amazing think about the this fire/latter truck is that all of the accessories that you would think are hard to find are there... axes, helmets, other tools and etc. Its going to make for a very cool restoration. 7 to 10K sounds reasonable.

If it comes with the ladder rig and all those accessories, I bet it would fetch 12K or more un-restored.

How many could there be like it anywhere?

Fred,

Can you get us some more pictures of the rear end of that truck? I can see helper springs, but it looks like it may have non AA springs on it. That is a cool looking truck for sure.

Look at the right frame rail, they have put another frame rail over
the original rails.

I'll get some more pictures of it next week when I go back there.
He also has a large collection of Model T parts if any of you guys know of anybody that's into Ts near Oklahoma. I counted over 40 t frames and 10 motors.

The frame is doubled where the trailer mount was attached.

Bob, is that a FABCO frame extension on your 30?

Thanks for the info guys!

It's mine, Dave Z (spectria), and I am not sure who the manufacturer was.
