Also for your information. Harley-Davidson Motorcycles says that this fuel burns so much hotter then regular or high test gasoline that the air cooled engines may seriously overheat and destroy the engine.

The link gives info that is scary, So E85 (85% Ethanol) is OK for dual fuel vehicles because they have special parts to protect from Ethanol corrosion?
And E15 (15%) ethanol fuel is a disaster for all other cars? Weird.

I wouldn't use the stuff without more info...

Indy 500 cars now run on 85% ethanol fuel. Previously they used 100% methanol fuel but that type of alcohol is very different from ethanol, methanol is corrosive and poisonous. Most states have banned methanol because of the danger of it poisoning groundwater if spilled. Ethanol is the alcohol in beer, wine & whiskey.

I would not worry one bit about ethanol fuel in a Model A Ford. It could be a problem in some foreign cars that were not designed for it. Model A guys don't drive foreign cars, do they? I admit I drive a VW but it's a diesel and I love it. I would like to buy the small Ford diesel car that Ford sells in Europe but they won't sell it here.

Yucky corn gas,and other crap....I just use 92 clear in all my engines.Except for the diesels.....lol...
