FOUR WHEEL BRAKE Symbol on an early 28 AA

Post by Harry Lipki »

I have always wondered if the pictured " FOUR WHEEL BRAKE " symbol is what originally came with the early 28 AA ...This truck does have 4 wheel emergency brakes ... that was the only part that I could salvage form the original home made deck .. please ignore the spare tire .. it is by no means the original and is there just for show .

well remember cars like the T were 2 wheel brake as were many others in the teens. may be some advertizing thing or warnign to others not to tailgate as 4 wheel brake cars could stop faster hence the red triangle much like a orange triangles on farm machenery for slow moving vehicles.
