Does anyone know what all the different holes in the AA frame were for. My 29 frame has many unused
holes in the rails and the different cross members . Mybe to mount garbage body, coal body, etc. ?? Mac...

To answer the original question - yes, I believe that I have access to the identification of most of the holes in the AA frame side and cross members. I don't believe anyone has any kind of a document describing them. That would be quite a document since these stamped parts changed many times.
Some holes are for the purpose of allowing the member to be backward compatible when sold through service. Some holes were for right hand drive chassis. Some holes were locator holes for the stamping/punching operations. Some holes could be simply added by the customer over the years.
About the only way to get answers for a given frame is via pictures (overlay-ed with text or arrows showing the holes in question). And, the month/year of the frame is needed. Trying to identify the holes just by writing text would just lead to all sorts of misunderstandings.
The attached shows the 1929 #2 cross member versions.

Mac the first pic is ? The second one is for the spare tire carrier that was on the side of the truck. and remember some of the holes you see are for left hand drive trucks.
