1929 6 hole wheel on AA

Who manufactured the 6 hole 29 wheels? While cleaning/painting my wheels I see what looks like FIRESTONE stamped in it ??
Other pictures are other marks. Mac..

Firestone and Clev-Weld (Cleveland Welding) are the two I know of. I have some NOS Clev-Weld ones.

Mac my split rims say "Firestone 30 x 5 D1 on all 5 of mine.

I have a matched set of 5 stamped Firestone and dated 1-29.

i have several lock rings that say firestone some say somehitng else tho

The Judging Standards say that either Hayes or Firestone made all AA rim flanges. The wheels are another matter. On Hayes flanges the notch at the split is to the left; on Firestone, to the right (with the split at the top of the wheel).

Back to the original question:
The AA-1015-B Wheel - A 20" six spoke reverse dish disc wheel used from 2/29 thru 12/29. This wheel was manufactured by Firestone, Claveland-Weld and maybe others.

All this was covered in the last issue of The Double A'er (Issue 19, April 2013) Page 20-22 with detailed pictures.
