This is my recent purchase, I live near baltimore,MD. Plan is to get her running, tune up, rewire engine bay and dash.

And don't forget the milk carton to sit on (and think about some seatbelts while you're at it). :)

A friend of mine did a body-off restoration of his Model A Tudor and was excited to drive the big go kart without the body once the engine was rebuilt and reinstalled in the chassis. He sat on a milk carton and was used to how he formerly had to rev the engine before he popped the clutch, not realizing that the rebuilt engine would have more power, particularly without the weight of the body and fenders. He popped the clutch and the chassis almost did a "wheelie" and he fell backward between the frame and rear end as the car roared across the driveway and into a neighbor's fence dragging him along the way under the rear axle. :lol: Wish I had a video camera back in those days - we'd be still laughing today. Fortunately nothing was hurt but his pride and the neighbor's fence!

glad to see another somewhat local AA in restoration process the model A club of baltimore has a couple of AA owners in it , check them out, they are good helpful people.
