I have a 29 AA. Are the parts to rebuild the tie rod and the drag link the same as the model A cars?

yes should be.
ive heard to stick with the standard steel cups - not the teflon style (teflon is rather soft)

Early ones are the same as A, Latter started to show some changes to strengthen things up.
I put in the Easy steer kit (Teflon cups) and have had no problems. Be sure the balls are round too.
