while sifting thru my collection of brake parts for worm drives i noticed a bit of a difference in service arms:
middle pair are from a march 29 with no outer hump, outer pair are from later 29 with the extra hump on the side of the worm casting
i wonder why the difference... thought someone could use the pics for whatever reason.
Interesting change

Re: Interesting change
The one farthess to the left is like my 29, could it be a 30-31 AA on the right. Thank I just looked at mine and they are made different than each other. The one is like the one you have on the left. Sorry pic is to big to post any pics.

Stakebed:
In the first photo, you stated the outside brake service arms are from a later '29 than the arms in the center of the photo. I have two '30 or '31 rearend assemblies stashed out back. Both have the latter-style service arms. Or, at least, they look pretty darn close. The levers (portion that accepts clevis-pin) on mine are not at a complete 90 degree angle from the rounded section. The levers are set are slightly angled away from the rounded head. Do yours angle like this too?
