Bed identification question.
There is a gal locally that is selling some of her deceased husbands autos and trucks. She has a 1929 truck for sale that I took a look at. I'm not interested in purchasing the truck but I said that I would check here to see what style of bed the truck had. The bed has no skid strips and the frame is made up entirely of wood. Some of the wood looks old and some looks newer. Is this a correct bed for this style of side boards or is it something someone fabricated? The truck is an older restoration probably in the mid 80's I would guess. The cab looks to be pretty much rust free. If anyone is interested in it you can p.m. me your contact information and I will pass it along to her.

Re: Bed identification question.
The bed looks unusually wide for a AA. Maybe it came from some other kind of truck.
Too bad about the flat tires sitting on the ground; the tires are probably ruined.

Re: Bed identification question.
Looks like a custom bed. Judging from the original metal.

I did notice that it is rather wide and yes the tires are shot. Does have a B stamping on the rear end so it is probably a high speed unit.
