I have a coal body on a 31 AA and the hyd hoist pump was leaking at the case seem. I removed it and split the pump. It's in good shape, but the gaskets look like a pain to make. Anyone have luck getting parts for wood hydraulic hoist body company items?
I think they changed into Garwood Ind.
where to get gaskets for a wood hydraulic hoist body pump?

Welcome to the forum! You could try a place that does hydraulic work or rebuilds cylinders. Where are you located? There may be someone in your area that may know of a place that could get you parts.

South east, by casinos. I will try a hyd shop in Montivlle. I was thinking, with the computer age strongly entrenched, a business would computerize the gasket records and then just cut to order. But maybe to hopeful. If I end up buying the gaskets, I will post where.
Thanks

Bob C, he's in Communisticut, by the casinos. You could call John The Jackman in Stafford. W.H. Rose in Columbia maybe. Any place that works on dump bodies may be able to help.

I took it to Devine Hyd. in Montville They always have been knowledgeable about odd stuff, but just came home with a roll of gasket paper.
Started to strip it down, heck of a time getting the woodruff key out of the shaft. The part that didn't get buggered up looked like it was machined. Better quality then I have ever seen in a key. It made for a tight fit, and probably been together for 83 years.

The pump looks the same, but mine is mounted lower, almost straight in line with the PTO. My cylinder is different, it fills through a hole (pipe thread) in the top side of the case, it mounts with pins. I will try to take some picts with my phone and post them if the weekend goes good.
