Shifting to 4th Gear

Post by 29Otis »

For some reason after I drained and re-filled my transmission oil, I can't shift into 4th gear. I can however shift into reverse without the use of the thumb lever. I do not believe the two things are related, but I am open to suggestions...

That is a curious set of coincidences. Have you tried shifting into 4th using the thumb lock-out lever?

Page 442 of the Service Bulletins tells how to adjust the reverse lockout.

I removed the filler plug on the passenger side and filled it up.
