Rad shell emblem restoration
Has anybody had an enameled grille emblem restored. I have a '28 Canadian grill emblem that needs the enamel redone. Any suggestions?

Model A Restorer or Model A News magazine had a article about 2-3 years ago. you might want to try the Ford Barn web site. Someone there might have contact info.

it does appear the lady does very very fine work and knows what shes doing BUT said it averages 250-$350 for emblems... you can buy a very nice repro for that.
Do you have any sign shops around your area? they may be the ones to know...or check with the "old guys" at barber shops and hardware stores. They seem to know everything and everyone! Never know one may have one sitting on a shelf in his garage...
