Dovetail bumper??

Post by Greg Liekweg » December 19th, 2014, 9:25 am

I have no bumpers left in the doors that the dovetails fit in. Aug.1930 truck. How or what is the best way to replace them.

Have you tried Bratton's? I got my door pieces for my Fordor from them.

On my '28 the inside trim has two screws that hold it down then it slides up out of the way and the rubber bumper slides out. ( At least that is how I took mine out). Not back together yet. Paint is still Drying. :|

Hello Greg,
Go to Fordbarn and search dove tail installation, they can be a chore to install, plenty of help there.
Regards Brian.
