Three common Ford heads

Attached is a photo of the three common heads you find on Model As. The top one is the stock 4.2 to 1 Model A head with 40 HP. The center one is the stock 4.9 to 1 model B head (with the "C" on top) and with the B grind cam and B carb you get 50 HP. The bottom one is the police Model A head with the "B" on top (Snyder copied this head and sells it for about $330) with 5.5 to 1 ratio and approaching 60 HP with the B cam grind and B carb. I decided to show a comparison of the three before the police head goes on a truck.

Very interesting, thanks for posting. I happen to have all 3 of these sitting on my parts shelf and I had not looked at them that way before.
