Original Shocks

Post by TheFlyingQuail »

Had the original shocks from my AA rebuilt and installed back on the truck. They were found in the parts box after I purchased my truck. The original shock links were there as well. I took them apart and cleaned all the old grease out, re-greased and assembled them. The shocks make a big difference on how the truck rides and handles. It's a good feeling to put original parts back on and not repros!

Great pics. Thanks for posting.

Are there any pics of AA rear shocks on the truck out there?

I believe they were fitted to the ambulance and funeral coaches, they had a longer softer spring, this picture may not be of a factory setup.

Very nice, thank you. Does the axle mount end bolt on?
