Happy Memorial Day weekend everyone
I need some picpures of the door hinges that go on the doors. Mine have been bent to adjust the door at sometime in the past. I would like to get them back to the proper shape before i start assembling the truck. A top view is what i need. Cant be sure witch ones are bent and witch ones are good.

Your pics show a little of what i need. the ones in question are the ones that go on the door. The one that goes on the piller is in the way on your pics. if someone has a picture of just the one that goes on the door it would be a big help.

Ford used two types of hinges, pretty much randomly, on the 1928-29 pickups and trucks. Theses were a carryover from 1926-27 (though the upper hinge may have been bent differently in the steel 1927), and also a carryover design from 1924-25.

The type you have is stamped one piece for the body (with a solid rolled section for the pin) and for the door. We make a replacement in cast gear bronze (www.wescottsauto.com), available direct and Snyders, and other dealers do sell them.

The second type had a two splines (around the hinge pin) on the body and 3 splines on the doors, with a stamped cover. The spline pattern interchanges to the roadster hinges used 1926-1931 though the roadsters did not use the cover.

Interestingly enough I have seen these on several Naughtafords, including a 1934 Reo rear door.
