Neil, your information and photos of the AA brake lever arms is awesome.
Which made me wonder if you might have a list of the lengths of all the various brake rods used in AA's?

I put an article titled "AA Truck Talk - Brake Controls" in the 2015 Double A'er. This article covers the service and emergency brake controls as found in the Ford Parts Price Lists. The article contains a table of brake rods for each of the four brake system designs (D1, D2, D3, and D4). The table includes:
Diameter, Length, Rod Front/Rear configuration (clevis or eye), and spring pocket button location.

Scott, you can get .pdf files of all Double A'er newsletters from the Ford Model AA Truck Club. There is a list of articles at https://aafords.com/c/nl/#ta

The information for ordering is at https://aafords.com/c/nl/#pn. The newsletters are provided on DVD. There is a new method where you can download these newsletters as an option.

Your might be a Ford Model AA Truck Club member. But, the membership file does not have a way to match "handles" from this site.

Hi Neil,

I just realized I have that DVD sitting in my drive. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.

Okay, Scott LaValley - you are welcome to join the Ford Model AA Truck Club. See Join information at https://aafords.com/c/ms/#j.

To everyone - There is now an option to get the Double A'er as an electronic download starting with 2021. Renewals are $6/year (two year renewals preferred).
