All,
I'm gathering the missing parts to reinstall my rear shocks: what's the difference between the A-18052 shock arm that Snyders sells and the AA-18052 arm that's listed for my truck?
Thanks.

As far as I know the Model A parts are not even close to the AA parts.

AA TRUCK TALK - SHOCK ABSORBER EQUIPMENT - UPDATE 1 is published in the 2014 Double A'er. This article covers the AA rear shocks as has been found on two AA's.

The above pictures shows an arm and linkage which is different. Are there more shots of this installation? What vehicle was this found on?

Neil, I found the picture of the shock online some place. I think it may be on a 28-29 chassis
so maybe they are after-market. The picture below is one of a pair I got off a 38 1 1/2 ton
at Pick-A-Part as compared to a Model A shock.

Attached is a picture of a shock setup which was on a 1931 Funeral Coach.

Hello Neil,
The above picture is one that I took of a rolling chassis at a swap meet, this was a 29, and was intended to have a motor home installed, it has the long springs, the spring pivot is bolted as are the front hanger brackets.
I am going to attempt to send you the picture file, I do need to learn to set my camera for the best definition, any tips welcome.
Regards Brian.
I could not add the file, so here a few pics, not much help with the shocks.

Wow! I never knew an AA had rear shocks. Do they do any good?

I don't know how they perform yet, but I'll keep you posted.

The shocks on the front of mine look and measure the same as regular A shocks. The rear shocks are missing, but the 'shadows' on the frame rail measure the same (about and-a-half inches) as the fronts. There's still one link on the rear axle.
