aa QUESTION

have a AA doodlebug picked up a motor came out of a car question is,will clutch,preasure plate flywheel and pilot bearing be same as the 31 AA

All should be OK. You don"t say what year, or what trans the buggy has - Differences are that the 4 speed trans clutch disc was a little larger diameter, and the truck pressure plate had stronger springs - but all should interchange, and work nicely in the buggy.

isnt the only difference is the clutch disc i maybe 1/4"-1/2" larger in diameter? for a doodlebug you wont ever notice a difference between the 2.

As I think back ,the throut bearing hub is different in the 4 speed than the 3 speed. (was in my late 29 with the 4 speed ). If I'm wrong let me know
because my clutch has always been high to release. Mac....

sorry its 31 aa, went to set car engine,would not go,pulled motor back out,using digital calipers the shaft on the aa tranny is larger than the A

wonder now if model a clutch was wrong,but alignment tool worked ok,need to know what to get, confused

The three speed and four speed have the same size input shaft 1 3/8".

will the A,and AA have same,flywheel and preasure plate or will they work in my doodlebug

They both use the same flywheel and the pressure plate will work.

You need to use the shorter AA throw-out bearing carrier and the AA bellhousing.
