The "discs" are the same except that (at the factory,) the disc used in the AA was 1/2 larger diameter. The springs in the pressure plate were somewhat stronger, but those are the differences. The AA clutch housings were not as deep, and the pedal shaft was on the 4 speed trans. The throwout and little spring were different than the A as well, The motor change you are doing (placing an A engine in an AA chassis) has been done countless times before with great success. It would be great to see some photos, as some-ting-wong might be going on.

thanks when i bought doodlebug had no motor and motor i have is out of a car,clutch hub is to small for aa tranny,having trouble finding clutch disk for the 4 speed
