I have a early 28 with the 131 wheel base . I m looking for a picture and or a part number Early 28 tail pipe hanger, And is it reproduced . I have searched the form but I haven't been able to find it Thank You Billy
Re: Early 28 tail pipe hanger
I seen that picture and the diagram but it appears in the picture there is a bracket mounted to the frame and then the hanger attached to that. I thought at one time neil had posted a picture of it attached directly to the frame . Thank you

The posted picture is of an AA-5256-B bracket and it was used starting 8/28. From the beginning of production through 8/28 the 5" long AA-5256 bracket was used.

Re: Early 28 tail pipe hanger
The attached shows the castle nuts are on the outside of the frame. It would be close to impossible to install the cotters with the nuts on the inside.chief5215 wrote:Does anyone have a picture of this bracket mounted, Im trying to figure out the hole locations and which side the castle nut goes on.
