making progress on my '28 Express

Post by markt »

I wanted to share my progress on my '28 Express and take a moment to thank everybody on here for their help, both indirectly and direct. My truck is a '28 Express with a Brantford cab. I have been able to source many parts here and a whole lot of information. I am converting a TT to an AA bed with a lot of help from Neil's documentation. To date I have not fount an original spare wheel carrier so thanks to Neil's information I fabricated one. (I think it turned out pretty good) Right now it is temporarily installed with bolts but it will get riveted into place once I finish the metal work on the box. Now that I look at my photos it looks to me like I should have given it a little cleaning first!
Thank you again to all of you.
Mark

Thank you ModelAkid, I am trying to make this as authentic as I can.
Tom, I will look to see what I have for photos of the conversion in process. I will take a few current photos of the inside of the box showing the changes made. The box is still all bare metal and reasonably easy to see conversion.
