1928-29 cowl lower bolts to frame ?
I have this 28-29 model AA that has this set up on both sides the frame, under the cowl. They both look the same and looks factory. Has anyone saw this before. This is the only one that I've ever seen. It has a channel under both sides.

The A pillar looks like wood, not a Ford Factory practice. This may be factory, but not a Ford factory . This truck probably had an aftermarket body. Ford sold lots of chassis only vehicles. The 28-29- early 30 cowl was not straight up and down at the rear and various methods were used to mate this to an aftermarket body, some tin, some castings etc. The angled part which supports the forward floor boards looks a lot heavier duty than the Ford standard material. The company who made this didn't want to have cowl shake.
