cab sheet metal install on 28 AA
cab sheet metal install on 28 AA
i am installing the rear sheetmetal on my wooden frame. question? i see small holes in sheetmetal where it is nailed to door jambs. I see carriage bolt head at top of door jamb which bolts in steel bracket running along top of back wall. is there any other way that the steel above rear window is hooked to the wrap around bracket. maybe the cover strip for the fabric roof keeps this top edge locked in? any ideas?
Re: cab sheet metal install on 28 AA
i also should have mentioned: the wrap around bracket screws into the top cab wood. this is the area above rear window. the sheet metal seems to snap in UNDER the bracket. i see half moon notches in sheetmetal for each wood screw head holding in bracket. it seems that the sheetmetal above window would like to pop out even when it is nailed in on door jambs. any ideas. thank you.
