ENjoying your forum. Glad to see so many AA fans participating. I purchased a 31 truck, finally.( I think) There doesn't seem to be many in my area; either the salt air has eaten them to pieces or they must be concours winners or gold plated.
The puzzle is, what kind of fordor was the cab made from. MY closest picks are a 1928 hupmobile or a Chevrolet (please dear GOD don't let it be)
THe rad. Is after market(new), the rad. Shell appears new (correct?). I don' t know what the hood is ( appears to be old) ; the firewall may be correct, the dash may be correct, new gas tank(ford?) new seat springs&seat covers, new 31 interior panels that don't fir &snot installed, new glass, window reg repaired with ford parts(?).
This is getting long but I'm fired up. WHat I can't figure out is why anyone would get rid of a cab from this almost perfect frame. The frame. Appears to have been dusted off & a quick amature spray can paint job not hitting the frame often. The frame doesn't appear to have a rust pit anywhere. Almost every thing associated with the frame looks like it's 2 years old or newer. WHat happened to the cab? DId the old barn fall on it?
THe truck is titled as 31 ; I think it is a 185-A( 157" with tapered frame) made 7/30-12/30 and sold as a 31, but I'm no expert.
Please look at pics if I can get them on and all comments are welcome.
Thanks for being & thanks for reading. GOd bless.

No pictures. Cab was probably used on a hot rod.

resize the picture before you send them. Your picture file should give you that option.
Always one bad decision away from a good time.

You will have to resize your picture to make it small enough to post.
Open your picture for editing. I use Microsoft Office Picture Manager.
Click on "Edit Pictures"
Click on "Resize"
In the Predefined width x height box select "Web - Large"
Click “ok”
Then "Save As" in a different file for posting. If you just save it your original picture will be changed so be careful of that. Once made smaller you can’t go back bigger.

go to http://www.photobucket.com and open a free account. Upload you pictures. then copy the IMG CODE of the picture you want to post. Then paste that IMG CODE here. WALLAH!your photo appears without re-sizing.

How about some close up pictures of the cab, inside and out and the firewall.

Bob, I got this one pic on by accident. SO far I haven't had another accident. When they wrote a computer book for dummies, they didn't know about me. I'll keep trying.

Rick, You have a one-of-the-kind. The hood-front fenders-radiator and gas tank is all Ford AA 30-E31. The door and cab back is something else. The back section looks to be a tudor or maybe a four-door sedan. Would not have a clue as to what make, but it is not FORD. You have a very nice truck and I would not change any thing about it's looks. Some one took a lot of time to build that 'BEAUTIFUL TRUCK' Shelby, Sacramento

Re: New member 10/26/16 with puzzle
man you do have a hodge podge of parts, cowl section looks like a REO with the model A gas tank embedded in it, doors look like 3 hinge chevy doors, rear half is most definately from a car.
BUT someones spent alot of time on it and it looks good! Deffinately one of a kind. If she runs good and stops better thats all that matters.
