Travis at www.a-springs.com now has new 30/31 AA springs for sale. 14 leaf, 2.25 inches wide. I think they include clamps and bushings.
They're not cheap at about ~$400.00 but its nice to have the option to have a new spring if you're doubting a junkyard find.
I did not buy a spring but Travis is a nice guy to deal with.

Re: New AA Front Springs for sale
Thanks for the info! I see intact 30-31 way more than I see correct 28-29s though. Does he have the dimensions to make the correct 28-29?

Re: New AA Front Springs for sale
He might have the blueprints for 28/29 springs but i'm not sure and it sounded like he only has the 2.25 inch spring but it would be worth asking.
If you get stuck I think Eaton told me they have the blueprint for 28/29 springs and they could make one ($~300 sounds familiar).
Is the 28/29 spring that MACS advertises not correct?

The ones mac sell say they fit 28-31. I told them that is impossible wth explanations and dimensions but never got a response. Macs doesn't have a great reputation.
