Wire Gauge

Post by captain marty »

I'm working on my ignition wiring and have plenty diagrams to go from.
The only thing I cannot find is what gauge wire to use, as nobody seems to put these on their drawings.
I want to do these:
Red wire from ignition switch to coil.
Black wire from coil to junction box.
Yellow from junction box to ammeter and then to starter switch.
14 Gauge sound good for these?
Wow that would complete most of my ignition circuit.
Thanks guys,
Marty
