Wheel carrier hinge

Post by Bob C »

Does anybody know if the bracket that is riveted to the frame on the long wheel base truck, or bed on the short wheel base, for the Wheel Carrier Rear Hinge Bolt & Nut Assembly is cast iron or steel?

That is AA-1470-B assembly - the bracket is forged steel.

A good weld should easily fix that.
