Newer Drums
Have been looking for a source for newer drums to fit my 31 AA, but to no avail. Has anyone found anything to replace the rather overused drums?

Re: Newer Drums
What he said and no - no new ones available. Just cherry pick what you can find. Even marginal AA brakes will stop an unloaded truck very easily.
Re: Newer Drums
Thought there were other alternatives of newer drums. Might need one for the '32 AA as well. Will start looking at it right after we finished installing the new wheels and Toyo tires on the current truck project.

Re: Newer Drums
'32/'33 BB/V8 drums are a bolt on for '30/'31 AA's. Plus they are cast iron.

Got it Chris, thanks!

Re: Newer Drums
I had an early '32 AA truck that had cast iron drums all around.
As you know Ford switched to cast iron drums on A's later in 1931; apparently they then got around to it on AA's.
I have some extra AA brake drums (not cast iron) stored in Michigan. If anyone needs some, contact me.
