Since your AA has a 4-speed transmission, you need an AA-4802-B coupling shaft as shown in the picture below. What parts of this coupling shaft do you need?
Note that the coupling shaft shown in the post above (titled 28-29_coupling_shaft_146.jpeg) is for attachment behind a 3-speed transmission.

I would like to know if anyone may have the coupling shaft that Bob C, posted, 28-29, I would like to find one that I maybe able to adapt an Overdrive to fit that I have, any leads would be welcome.

as the four speed is in the truck i will have to go with that,i have not run the four
speed if it dont work i will get a three speed,though i have a spare four speed in the shed.

Neil, if you used the bearing retainer and u-joint that was used to put the 4-speed in the car would the 28-29
coupling shaft work with the 4-speed?

You would need to use the AA with 3-speed coupling shaft rear retainer and u-joint as well. This is the same set of parts to install a 1928-1929 Worfard or Dual High behind a 4-speed.
The 4-speed-in-A bearing retainer is slightly thicker than the corresponding AA bearing retainer (see picture). The A retainer is a very hard find.
