Re: 1929 fabric top
I just worked on my top covering last weekend. We finally had a hot sunny day. Very important to be where the sun can heat things up to get the fabric stretched properly without wrinkles at the corners. Kind of a stressful project, so allow for a whole day and take your time. My visor is sheet metal and not fabric covered. I believe it is some aftermarket visor, but that is what my truck came with. I painted it semi gloss black for now.

Re: 1929 fabric top
82-A closed cab sun visor is covered with the same material as the top but separate from the top.

Re: 1929 fabric top
Would it make sense to get the sun visor fabric and cover my sheet metal visor to make it look correct? I have not seen the original frame style visor or a pattern to make one. If someone has a pattern, I would try to make one.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: 1929 fabric top
Covering the metal visor you have will not make it look original in my opinion. An original is a skeleton design. Yes, reproductions are being sold by vendors.

Nice job, T-Crate! Makes you wonder what their secret was at the factory back in the day.
